About this game
Avalon: who should join the next quest?
Everyone claims to support Arthur, but Mordred's followers are hiding among the knights. Decide who can be trusted while opponents try to derail the quests. This is the new French Aurora edition, for 5–10 players aged 12+, around 30 minutes, available for preorder.

Two sides with different information
Each player receives a hidden character and allegiance. Evil players recognise one another during setup; loyal players analyse proposals, votes and quest results. Merlin has valuable information but must guide allies carefully, because revealing his identity can help the Assassin.
Propose, debate and vote
The player holding the King token proposes a quest team. Everyone discusses and votes to approve or reject it. An approved team plays quest cards secretly to determine the result. If rejected, the next King proposes another team.
How victory works
Evil wins through three failed quests. Good aims for three successes, but the Assassin can still win for Evil by identifying Merlin at the end. Five rejected team proposals in one round also cause an Evil victory.
Choosing Avalon for your group
Votes and results give everyone partial evidence to discuss. Players remain involved rather than being eliminated during quests. Choose this game for people who enjoy debate, playful accusations and hidden allegiances. At least five players are needed; it is not a two-player game.
For a first session, explain both objectives, follow the recognition script in the rulebook and present the Assassin's role before beginning.
Included material
Character and Quest cards, voting and team tokens, a King token, tracking boards and markers, player aids and rules. No Resistance game or other Avalon edition is required.
