Build sets to empty your hand, while watching what opponents have played. Cards show different values depending on their orientation. Every card taken from the table is rotated before entering your hand, changing its active value.
DNUP supports 2–5 players aged 8+, with games of around 15 minutes.
At the start of your turn, discard your previous set if it remains in front of you. Then choose one action: play a set, add a card to an opponent's set, take an opponent's set, or rotate your entire hand.
A set uses matching active values. If another set of the same size is on the table, your new set must have a higher value. The beaten player takes their cards back and rotates them. Adding a card must also follow the conditions in the rules.
With 3–5 players, the first to empty their hand gains two Letter tokens, although their last set remains exposed for one final trip around the table. The second gains one token, ending the round. Reach at least four Letter tokens to win.
The two-player variant uses two play areas per person and consecutive turns. Win two rounds to take that game.
Look at both values on each card, compare set sizes as well as numbers and use the player aids to check additions. Do not rotate individual cards freely between actions.
