Skull King is a trick-taking and bidding game in which daring pirates must predict exactly how many tricks they will win.
The game lasts ten rounds. Each round gives you more cards: place your bid, then try to fulfil it. Pirates, Mermaids, Escape cards, the Tigress and the feared Skull King can overturn every trick and make each decision both tactical and unpredictable.
