Skyjo – Family Card Game

Each player arranges twelve cards in four columns of three, revealing two to begin. Take the visible discard and swap it into your grid, or draw from the hidden pile. Keep the drawn card to make a swap; if you reject it, discard it and reveal one hidden card in your grid.

Three identical visible cards in a column are removed. A player's fully revealed grid triggers the final turns. Scores accumulate over rounds until someone reaches 100 points; the lowest total wins. The player who triggered the end doubles their positive round score if it is not strictly lower than everyone else's.

Each person manages their own grid. Watch the visible cards, think about columns and consider how close other players are to finishing. For a first game, demonstrate both drawing options and explain the end-of-round penalty before starting. Being first to reveal everything does not automatically mean winning.
